Transform Your Classroom with Mediated Learning
What if the same classroom activity could challenge advanced learners, support struggling students, and build confidence in every child — all at the same time?
Mediated Learning is a powerful approach in which the teacher becomes a mediator between the student and the learning experience. Instead of merely delivering content, the teacher intentionally shapes how students think, process, and apply information.
Developed by Reuven Feuerstein, this approach is built on the belief that intelligence is not fixed; it can be developed. The focus shifts from completing tasks to strengthening thinking skills such as comparison, planning, reasoning, and problem-solving.
In a heterogeneous classroom, Mediated Learning allows:
- The same activity to be explored at different cognitive levels
- Advanced learners to deepen their thinking
- Struggling learners to build foundational skills
- Every child to experience success
This workshop will give you:
- A clear understanding of Mediated Learning and its key principles
- Practical strategies you can implement immediately
- Real classroom examples from inclusive settings
- Tools to manage mixed-ability classrooms with confidence
