The Foundations Skills Approach aims to support academic learning and holistic development by fostering cognition, social, emotional, physical, and perceptual development. This approach seeks to identify and address the potential of each learner, thereby enhancing their ability to acquire knowledge and skills.

Early intervention is crucial in providing foundational skills for pre-reading, pre-mathematics, writing, and cognitive development. By acquiring these skills, children become well-rounded members of society, equipped with critical thinking, creativity, and appropriate interpersonal skills.

The cognitive development component focuses on enhancing receptive and expressive language, reading, writing, and numeracy abilities. Additionally, the program emphasizes the development of self-regulation, attention, and emotional awareness, enabling children to recognize and manage their emotional and prosocial needs.

The workshop addresses potential learning challenges in young children and mitigates the risk of learning differences. By implementing an intervention methodology, the program empowers young learners to succeed in school, fostering a positive learning environment and minimizing frustration associated with the learning process.
